Older and imported electric cars use the five pin Type 1 inlet, but almost every public charge post in Britain now presents a Type 2 socket. This lead bridges the two so a Leaf, an i3 with Type 1, an Outlander PHEV, an early Zoe or an imported Volt can use the same posts as everything else.

Note that Type 1 is single phase only, so the car will draw at most 7.4 kW no matter what the post can supply. Pick the length that reaches comfortably from the post to the inlet on the nose or wing of your car.
